More InformationSunnyside is a select, privately owned Park in a seaside location, situated in a prime elevated position on the wide, panoramic sweep of Seaford Bay. It also overlooks Newhaven Harbour with it's ferry service to Dieppe. The Park is connected to Bishopstone Station where a regular train service from Seaford to Brighton is available, calling at Newhaven and Lewes en-route. The resident managers Gerda Köhler and Darren Baker will be pleased to supply any further information. The town of Seaford is within easy reach with a supermarket, good range of shops and plenty of pubs and restaurants offering a wide range of good food. The Martello Museum is an interesting place to visit with it's history of the area and bygone days. Sunnyside is mid-way between the interesting towns of Brighton and Eastbourne. One dog per caravan is allowed under strict control at all times. Sunnyside is mainly used by retired and semi-retired people and although visiting children are welcome, there are no play facilities. The Park is open from the 1st March to 31st October. Daily bread, milk and newspapers are available and there is an on-Park gas delivery service, laundry room and shower block if required. This area of East Sussex has many attractions. Walkers will find lovely walks within Friston Forest and across the Seven Sisters to the beautiful Cuckmere Valley. There you will find the Living World with it's collection of tropical butterflies, insects and marine and freshwater fish in a delightful landscaped setting. The picturesque village of Alfriston is also within easy distance, close to Drusillas Zoo. Visit Michelham Priory and it's tranquil gardens, enhanced by a working watermill. These are just one or two of the many interesting places that can be visited within the area and there is always literature available from the Park Office. |
